Battery Day NRW
We were delighted to welcome a total of almost 1,000 visitors from all over the world to Battery Day NRW 2024 and the subsequent two-day Advanced Battery Power Conference 2024.
Advanced Battery Power Conference
Scientists, developers and engineers from all areas of the battery value chain met at the 16th international symposium “Advanced Battery Power – Kraftwerk Batterie” at the Messe und Congress Centrum Halle Münsterland in Münster. Over the course of the two-day event, the interested specialist audience had a total of more than 70 presentations to choose from.
Poster exhibition
With 339 posters, the poster exhibition was an unmissable and significant milestone for the Battery Conference 2024. We would like to express our sincere thanks for this record participation. The winners of the Poster Prize 2024 can be found below.
Exhibition
More than 50 international exhibitors from academia and industry gave interested experts a wide range of insights into products and developments relating to electrical storage solutions, battery production and applications.
Evening reception
The participants created a lively atmosphere at the evening event in the nearby Jovel. Highlights included the exciting presentation on the Formula Student world record attempt and the subsequent presentation of the poster prize by Prof Dr Winter and Prof Dr Sauer.

The trade exhibition in the immediate vicinity of the lecture halls formed the communicative centrepiece of the conference. This is where the participants met, where the coffee specialities and snacks were served and, of course, where the presentations by research institutes, start-ups, suppliers, OEMs, laboratory equipment suppliers, software companies and much more could be found.
